This is Georgia now.......not as they were at the beginning of the season. The SEC East is weaker than usual.......that's for certain. I do think UF is coming on offensively and that helps the confidence of the entire team. I wouldn't take Florida lightly in Atlanta if the Gators manage to beat SouCar this Sat. but I do expect UF to be at least a 7 to 9 point underdog to the SEC West rep.
I don't know why I remembered Boise State beating TCU handily in last years Fiesta Bowl. But that wasn't how it was it was a 10-10 game till Boise State pulled off a fake punt in the 4th Qtr and scored a few plays later to win 17-10. Stats were very close. I was thinking that Boise beat them handily and had almost the whole team coming back, but while they do have almost the whole team coming back they had to trick'em to win. Sort of changes my view about Boise being more deserving than TCU. Which ever of them gets to the game I hope the other one gets a major conference foe not from the Big East so they can show they are for real.
I'm watching Boise play Idaho. It's a rout in only the first quarter. Idaho is incompetent. They are making Boise look great. I cannot believe that no matter how many points Boise scores against opponents like Idaho, that they can be considered - under any circumstances - one of the two best teams in the country. It just ain't so.
The only thing offensive I saw in Florida last night was Spurrier getting carried off the field in the Swamp, but the Gamecocks.
