Hey everybody, This is Taylor (AJ's son). We got back to the motherland and watched our CORNHUSKERS put up a decent enough game to beat the tigers. I loved what I saw in the first quarter-defense came out real strong, put great pressure on Gabbert, and put points on the board on their first play. However, did they put all they had way too early in the game? One score in the 2nd quarter and Martinez is out with an injury. Offense cannot get anything going. Defense is still rocking though! BUT, they could not stop Gabbert. Probably 5 or 6 times this kid evaded the defensive line and scooted up the field for 15-20 yards. Couldn't pass, but ran pretty good. Anyone notice Mizzou's 5 wide receivers several times during the game? This put all the defenive backs on the receivers giving Gabbert plenty of room to run up the field. Game ball though, goes to Mr. Helu Jr. 3 rushing TD's and a little over 300 yards (school game record). At least one offensive CORNHUSKER had a good day. (Did you see Pelini? The guy is just gonna shoot somebody someday out of rage!) But all in all, HUSKERS are still number one baby! P.S. Hey DOC, My dad just wanted to remind you that a certain Baylor team had a prett good Saturday.
Hi Taylor! I met you in Orange County, Ca several years ago. I caught some of the Huskers game today and it was a solid win. I still have no idea how Texas beat them. Missouri appeared to be overwhelmed at times. re: Pelini You're right. Some day he is going to explode. ........JO'Co
Hey Taylor bet you really enjoyed the game. I don't know how Nebraska lost to Texas, but the Big Red is rolling and I expect you will win the Big 12 in your last season in the conference. Tell your dad hello and congratulations. He needs to get you an account.
Bill, I would be glad to set him up an account but do you think it is a good idea with some of the personalities on here? Taylor, congrats on the Big Red there Little Red. I wish my Vols had half the success you are enjoying.
Welcome aboard, Taylor. Great job by the Huskers yesterday! These guys are really good fellows in spite of what you may read here. I'm keeping a close eye on your old man, though..... 8)
Taylor glad you guys have arrived safe and sound! Good win by the Huskers yesterday. Just tell your pops Doc says 20-13!
KREBSIE!! thought you would be tailgating in the "meadows" by now!!! Should be a pushover for J>>E>>T>>S!
Tom, I guess I would leave that to AJ. While we have some personalities here it is basically mild compared to most of the team sites these days. I was kind of joking, but after meeting Taylor a couple of times summer before last I know how mature he is and what a gentleman he is. Takes after his mother.
Taylor, Welcome to the Skybox! Huskers played a great game yesterday against Missouri. Looks like the Buckeyes will open conference play next year in your backyard. Don
Hey Taylor I met you years ago when I played golf with your dad on the base. You were hitting plastic golf balls back then. Just got back fromt he Detroit Lions game this afternoon. Got to thank you guys for Suh. The guy is an absolute stud. He's lifting the Lion D tremendously.
