One reform that should be a no brainer and easy..

    Is for the NCAA to allow the scholarship to cover all the costs of attending college, not just room, board and tuition.
    I'm sure there could be some potential there for abuse regarding what exactly is an "ancillary cost". But still I think they should look at covering these things.

    I don't like it. Once you start down the path of special privilege, you might as well pay them scale. I once thought it wouldn't be a problem just to pay them a few thousand (25k/yr?) but not anymore. If you go that way, just start a minor league and quit pretending these guys are in it for the education (which is a 50k-100k benefit in and of itself).
