Interesting match up, and the first real game for both teams.

OSU is sporting the #1 offense in the land after a cupcake OOS slate. The Aggies are sporting the #10 defense, after an even "cupcakier" OOS sched. Tonight we see who's really got the stuff.

I feel alright about the game.
OSU has surrendered a TON of yards and points to sub-par competition. If the Aggies can stop the turnover plague... they should be able to pull it out.

He was 99% against FIU, and would have had multiple sacks... but somehow the Sunbelt refs didn't realize it was football, and not a wrestling match.

It'll be interesting. Tonight they both get to play real teams. Should be a real good game.

Certainly was a very exciting game. This game was all about Jerrod Johnson, great play and terrible play. Some terrific throws, and 4 picks and a really bad fumble.

If Jerrod can take care of the ball you guys will have and excellent year.

A lot of folks continued to say there is something wrong with his arm.
It's not his arm, it's between his ears.

Watch him for a few minutes and you recognize instantly that his mechanics are bad.
However, when he concentrates on his feet, and motion he can rifle the ball right where he wants it.
    Unfortunately, if/when he DOESN'T...
Also... he made some very bad decisions.
That last INT was thrown into 3 defenders, and had no chance of completion even if he was on target.

So... we'll be a bi-polar offense all year. We could win every game, and we could also lose every game.

I went to bed at halftime. I'm teaching a 07:00 class. When I hit the bed, my OSU receiver had 2 points and my OSU kicker had 1 point. I gave OSU no chance of winning this one. In the words of Ron White:
Both teams threw a total of 5 (I think) interceptions in the first half. Sounds like the second half wasn't any better for the Aggies.

    Scott,

You've got excellent WR's, RB's, and apparently a pretty good OL and a developing Defense...Jerrod just has to step up for you guys. Problem is I doubt if Sherman can afford to bench him for Tannehill at this point.

When the game started the Aggie defense looked great. I thought, man they are back. You have to give OSU credit. They made good offensive adjustments.

BTW, are James and Palmer the worst game analysts still working. James must have pictures of somebody to keep his job.

I was rooting for the Aggies, but it was an entertaining game.

Although the defense did have some trouble in the 3rd quarter... we still held them to 350 total yards.
That's 250 below their average, so I have no complaints about our D.
If we managed to knock off just ONE of those ridiculous turnovers we win that game without a doubt.
    GRRRR!!
