I am not quite sure what the score yesterday meant, other than Tressel never runs up the score on purpose. Eatern Michigan simply did not have the personnel to compete with Ohio State. Bucks were clicking with some consistency.

We generated 650 yards of offense, split down the middle between passing and rushing. Pryor had another excellent day, accounting for more than 300 yards. He threw for four TDs, scored one rushing and once receiving. Not a bad day.

Our secondary is suspect with some younger players not having experience. Hopefully that can be corrected with more playing time.

Next two games in conference play will tell a bit more. Illini should not pose a problem, but Indiana seems to have a pretty decent offense throwing the football. Real test will be Wisconsin in Madison.

Michigan continues to be a surprise and could be trouble in November. Still to early to tell in my opinion.

Not sure what to make of this game Don....EMich hopelessly overmatched no doubt, but I still like what I see from TP progressing from a great athlete under center to a fine QB who can beat you with his arm and his legs. I don't know how many times he punked a d-lineman yesterday but a QB that can throw 300 lb men to the turf with regularity is not supposed be that fast nor throw the ball to a spot on the run.....when he plays at a high level this team can be scary good.....

Saine obviously not himself, but the young RB's are real good - gonna be hard to keep those kids on the bench. Still waiting for the 3rd WR to develop and a no show from Stoney yesterday was a surprise.

Wasn't real happy with the defense yesterday and have some real concerns about the injuries in our secondary and our depth, but they have shown the ability to ratchet up the intensity when challenged and be very, very opportunistic...unless the depth and our injury issues catch up to us, I think we'll be fine heading into meat of the schedule

The heisman should be between Pryor and Ingram in my opinion with the Boise Qb as the third invitee to NY.

    Don,

just read of the injuries to Stoney and Chekwa.....no doubt the reason for Stoney's absence yesterday and he will be missed to be sure, but if Chekwa goes down given all the other injuries to an already young secondary, this defense goes from being very, very good to one with a big hole in the secondary that can be taken advantage of in a big way.....the kids need to grow up quick. Not good.....

I don't know about the Heisman but Ingram is Alabama's MVP. I think he is the emotional leader this year that Maclain was last year.
