LoL....Crankees do themselves in with the acting job by Jeter!! :)
I still have a hard time seeing the Rays as one of the best teams in baseball, they were bad for so long.

I saw the replay, and I don't have a problem with it at all. In fact, I give Jeter a ton of credit for his oscar-worthy acting job in selling it as a HBP. It's very rare at all levels of baseball, especially at the highest level, that an umpire is fooled like that.

Jeter is a class act, and this does not change one bit my opinion of him. How can you not like a guy who plans to marry Minka Kelly?

    Ron Gardenhire a Texas Longhorn!!

I was actually thinking given the Reds season that El Jeffe' Jiffer was referring to the Dusty Baker!! :)

Sort of like Sir Albert is the 2nd best player in baseball this year...to Joey Votto (where did that guy come from!!) :)

Dusty sure became a good manager after leaving the Cubs. Come to think of it, a lot of managers and players over the years have become good after leaving the Cubs.

TITO..BOYS..TITO!!! Look what that man did this year losing Ellsbury, Cameron, Pedroia, Youk, Tek for season...plus 10 others for long stints on DL. Look at Sox lineup...6 position players were in AA at start of season! Amazing job of getting a team on the field game after game!

Terry is called "Tito" as well. He was "Terry" when he and Brad Mills were roommates at Arizona, winning the 1980 National Championship.

Brad Mills currently undergoing a rejuvenation right now....at July 4th his team was a lock to lose 100 games, now they have a shot at finishing .500 and Astros pitchers have been the best in the NL since then.
