He has reached cult status amongst many of us because he appears to be a realist and a man who wants to accomplish the things he was elected to do. The teachers union( NJEA ) hates his guts as do all the labor unions. i think he is one of the very few bright spots on the political landscape in the nation.

My son the state trooper said the troopers love this guy and that is a big switch from previous governors. He told the troopers that they have an image to uphold as well as the laws and that as long as they did that he would stay the hell out of their way.

Don't know if you know this but the company I work for is based out of PA and we have lots of PA and Jersey guys who either own, or work, for the company. They want this guy for President, like yesterday.
He is loved by many and despised by some. The troopers have agreed to several concessions in salary and benefits because he has been straight with them.
