LOL....Cubs just can't catch a break! But I hear Bartman has moved to Cincy! :)

Oh yeah and I'm looking right at Bobblehead Bo as I type! I'm saving him for a game later this year! :)

Well my time of publicly (I still smile a lot privately) celebrating the National Championship is over. Bring on 2010! 8)

One thing about the Dareus suspension.....and I have always looked at early season suspensions at Florida the same way....is that he can't injure himself before the big games come around.

I know PSU is a big game but I don't see the nits hanging with the Tide...Dareus or no Dareus.

Now....the injury with Ingram is a little different because you don't know for sure how strong he will be on his cuts, etc. when he returns so certainly nothing was gained by that.

    KP,

you're still the champ until you're not....enjoy it. Best of luck to your Tide this year, I'm looking forward to your game with Penn State, it should tell us alot about both teams early. I'm not optimistic about PSU's chances down there especially with a true freshman apparently starting at QB as well as some other key losses but they have an excellent running back and should be pretty solid defensively .....but defending national champs in one of college football's iconic venues for your first road game.....ouch!

    KP,

If Bama goes 5-0 in this stretch:

    09/25/10 at Arkansas Fayetteville, AR
    10/02/10 vs Florida Tuscaloosa, AL
10/09/10 at South Carolina Columbia, SC
10/16/10 vs Mississippi (Homecoming) Tuscaloosa, Ala.
    10/23/10 at Tennessee Knoxville, TN

.....on paper that looks like a great 5-0 streak if it happens.

At LSU is after a bye week for Bama and Auburn is at home so I see these 5 games as the key to the Tide's season.

    MCG,
If we get through those 5 with all wins, I will be very happy. Of course that still leaves the PSU game, the LSU game and the Auburn game to go. None of those are sure things. Truthfully, I fully anticipate 2 losses this year. I don't know who they will be to but our defense is not strong enough to pull us out this year. One of the losses may be to Arkansas if their passing offense is as strong as expected.
