Utah beat Pitt in an exciting game at Salt Lake City. Both teams looked better-than-average, but young in spots. Pitt's QB was intercepted by a true freshman on their first play in OT...

<t>Lots of penalties in that game and Utah tried to give this one away a couple of times. Have to admit I was pulling for Utah in this game.</t>

That was a nice game. Utah seems to be one of those teams that just finds a way to win games.

I was interested to see if Pitt's D line was as tough as it was last season. They looked like they've lost some interior linemen but their ends look pretty good.
Utah's punt returner looked Shaky in the first half :)

Shaky fumbled twice otherwise maybe it wouldn't have been such a close game.

    Pitt has some big boys

That game wasn't on in my area.

There seem to be more good Thursday night games.

However that's my bowling night so I usually only get to watch the last quarter or so.

Oh, I did enjoy the S. Carolina game and it looks to me that Spurrier has a team with more offensive weapons than he has had in the past.
