Well he's trying to see what he has left.

Prior, who has not pitched in the major leagues since 2006 after a series of arm troubles, is trying to work his way back to the major leagues with the Orange County Flyers of the independent Golden Baseball League.

It is a long road, one that will be measured pitch by pitch on a fragile right shoulder. But it is a journey that will come without the weight of expectations. The burdens of hauling the Chicago Cubs to a World Series or assuming a place among the game’s pitching elite have been cut away by a surgeon’s scalpel.

This is way, way, way down the ladder from MLB. I wonder if he can make it work somehow.
