    Guys,

Right now I have seven groups of teams for you to choose from:

    SEC
    ACC
    PAC10
    Big East
    Big Ten
    Big 12
    Indys

Do you want the smaller leagues like the Mountain West, Conf USA, and the WAC added?

    Let me know.

Last year, after half my team was injured, I found it difficult to find replacements with playing time much less quality replacements. I wouldn't mind seeing all conferences available.

I voted for Mountain West because it does not allow you to select all three.

I edited this post after I realized that I can vote for only one of the three conferences. I vote for Mountain West.

Hmmm... I didn't realize you could only vote for one.

If you guys want them all, just throw that in your replies...

Not having participated before, it seems to me that it would be simpler to leave it smaller.

One of the reasons I was leery of signing up last year was that it seemed like a lot of time.

Those with more time on their hands will probably feel otherwise.

If we have same amount of teams as last year I think we should stay the same in conferences. If we are adding anymore teams I think we need to add a conference.

Would have been smarter to look at cbs page first....wow a lot of guys this year. We need all the conferences I think.

    Stu,

I have very little time to research the possibilities of some second string guy getting playing time. The more choices, the less time it takes to find and pick up quality players when you have injuries mid season.

    Terry,

Do you have a secondary email I can try? For some reason I guess it doesn't like your airmail account...

    Terry,

I edited your post. Typing it out the normal way allows search routines to capture your e-mail address and flood you with spam.

You have to get Terry in. :)

On players, we are going to be much bigger this year and there needs to be a good base of players. If it means adding all the conferences listed that is fine by me. I voted for the Mountain West my second vote would be the WAC with USA third.

    OK guys,
I've added the Mountain West to the the major conferences that were already in

I don't really want to add the WAC or Conf USA if we can keep from it.

So, the "rank the players" for the draft only has players from the conferences selected? I don't have time between now and the time I get on the plane Saturday to make certain the player is eligible for our draft if players other than the selected conferences are listed.

if things work like they did last year you can spend all the time you want scouting players ordering your draft and the system will pretty much ignore it anyway.

    Tom,

I BELIEVE that to be correct, but if not the system will just skip to the next guy in line that IS in one of the conferences in play.

    Terry,

Remember your draft position changes with every round, so when you're not at the top... you're not going to get any of the guys you pick.

I really want Jerrod, but if I'm not number one when the QB's roll up, I'm screwed.

So you really think he's going to be that popular in the draft? :)

Can you give us a short "draft primer"?...I have no idea how this thing works and so far haven't garnered much from the web site.
