http://msn.foxsports.com/collegefootball/story/Alabama-No-1-coaches-poll-080610 Well....what was already a huge game ( at least in my own little Gator mind.... ) has now become even larger with the release of the first BCS related poll. #1 Alabama ( duh ) faces # 3 Florida ( big surprise ) on Oct. 2nd. Another surprise to me is the omission of Notre Dame. Since when did Michigan not receive even one point in any football preseason poll: http://cfn.scout.com/2/557950.html
Not really suprising to me, we finished last season weak, we lost our QB and Blitinekoff Award Winner at WR and have a new coach/new system our QB has is coming off a bad knee injury. Lots of if's. Texas is probably ranked a little too high, we should be in the top 10 but maybe not quite at 4th. I think UF is ranked too high as well.
I feel ND will be a top 25 team this season by mid-season at the latest. Just a hunch I have about Brian Kelly.
8) This is just my opinion, so don't throw anything... Too high: Boise St. Virginia Tech Too low: BYU Notre Dame Stanford Washington Miami
Either Boise or VaTech is just right or too low.....because one will beat the other early and then probably steamroll the rest of their schedule. The loser of that game is definitely too high. Agreed on ND and possibly Stanford but I think Miami seems about right. If the canes deserve more they have a chance to prove it on Sept. 11th vs. OSU. Speaking of that day....what a line-up: #1 Bama vs. #14 PennSt #2 OhioSt vs. #13 Miami #8 Okla vs. $20 FSU #11 Oregon vs. Tenn Georgia vs. SouCar ND vs. Michigan .....need I say more?
