OK so I received an email from the Irish Godfather in Calif. and did some further research. Lynch's father did attend ND but it wasn't that Jim Lynch. While the football Jim Lynch did have two daughters, neither was named Alice which is what Aaron Lynch's mother is named. Also looking at his picture, he looks nothing like the captain Jim Lynch.
OK, I didn't think he was. It's cool though when a legacy has a kid who can come in and do what dad did or maybe even better.
DaVaris Daniels <r>so I'm reading over on ISD that DaVaris Daniels, the oustanding WR from Ill. wants to come to ND badly but he needs to get his ACT up. He retook his test in June and got the same score as he did on the first. Will reatke it again in Sept and if he passes, he's a ND man. Supposedly, he is working on improving his score over the summer. SOMEBODY GET THIS YOUNG MAN A TUTOR!!!!!<br/> <br/> Seriously, ya gotta root even more for the kid. Not just because he's a great player but because he obviously wants to go to ND. He's got offers from everywhere in the country and so many times kids like this just take the easy route and go to the big name school with lower academic standards. <br/> <br/> Study hard young man....I'm pulling for you. <E></E></r>
Listen Domer fans.....I don't mean to burst any bubbles here, but I have been hanging around these parts since '93......and including that year until present time......I'VE NEVAH HOID OF ANY OF THESE/THOSE BUMS.....but I guess it must be some kind of inside/cult/basement/garage band thing youse guys are into.....anyway.......at least Chip Kelly is a good irish name. 29 days and counting ladies......do you hear it yet?....it's distant....it's faint.....but it's the train...... John, You need to update your face shot since you lost so much weight. Seriously, Daly was the main attraction in Ft. Wayne at the annual charity pro-am in June. He was a huge hit, taking time to meet with a kids group on the other side of town, which caused him to be late for his driving range exhibition at the main course. My friend who chauffered him across town and who was anti-Daly before that day is now a fan. (No intent to hijack. Just making a comment to our buddy.)
I'm not suprised you never heard of these guys, Husker. Communication out your way is a tad outdated.
