You'd better hold up on that, Roger is back on Thursday! And the Mets might, just might have something to say. Plus I do believe that DodgerDogs team led by the greatest young French Canadian catcher in history might have a "Dog" in this fight!! 8) 8) 8)
Watch out for those A's. Ten straight wins. Boston continues to muddle along despite pitching woes. The rest of the AL East can't seem to capitalize on the opportunity to pull ahead/away.
Rick, don't ya hate that when you give a team kudos, the damn streak ends. Murphy..... Bobda, after we give you 3 more game cushion.....we're coming to take it back.....he he heh hehhhhhh
Oakland was shut out at Colorado, by Byung-Hyun Kim (a.k.a. Mr. 715) even! Oy! Speaking of pitching, Boston won behind Kyle Snyder last night, who was let go by the Royals last Friday. That's how desperate the Sox are for pitching. By the way, I see NU and UCLA agreed to a home-and-home football series. The games are at UCLA on 9/08/12 and in Lincoln on 9/14/13. I checked my calendar and I'm free both days.
Rick, Don't you hate it when you start talking about your team in a positive way.......f&%$##@ Murphy..... George, LOL!!! I watched the whole game last night. UGLY. Ponson went head hunting, their guys retaliated.....I'm surprised no benches got cleared. It'll be interesting to see how the Cards respond. Oh wait, Marquis is on the mound tonight....never mind.
AJ, Sometimes you're the windshield; sometimes you're the bug. e-mail from a friend of mine who lives in Lyons, IL... He's first and foremost a ChiSox fan, but because he hates the Cubbies so much he's a big Cards fan as well.
Cardinals 5 White Sox 13 They missed the extra point again. The Dodgers are desperate for pitching, but not desperate enough to trade with the Cards... ...........DD
Cards are just doing the rope a dope with the White Sox, letting them punch themselves out...so that they will be spent when the Astro's hit town! BTW....Roger's back tonight!
