How's it going. I bought a HTC Incredible, which is the Android OS. I like it just fine, would have gone for the iPhone except I didn't want to give up Verizon. I held off quite awhile due to rumours that Verizon would be getting an iPhone but finally decided that wasn't happening.

Only thing I don't like, is that they keep bringing out newer/better/faster models almost every month, whereas Apple is on a 2 yr cycle.

Since I bought my Incredible last month, they have already brought out a Motorola Droid X which is faster, has a better screen, etc. There are a couple others on the launch pad for the fall that will up the ante. It's sort of like trying to keep up with the Taylormade clubs cycle of new issues...can't be done unless you buy 3 new sets of irons every year.

While I like my new phone, and the ability to check email, and the internet, etc it's not a life style changing item.

I have the iphone 3G and will not be upgrading since the new features do not interest me enough to shell out additional money.

I really like my iphone since it serves basically as a mini computer and some the apps that can be purchased thropugh iTunes are amazing. But, and somewhat ironically, the negative aspect of the iphone is the phone itself. The voice quality and volume levels are not as good as my old Nokia; the attenna is mediocre; and ATT's 3G coverage is far less comprehensive than Verisons.

I read today that Verison is supposed to start selling the iphone in 2011.

Of course, if my hearing continues to decline, I sense my next phone will be a Jitterbug. I guess the next step after that would be to train Llloyd to be my service dog, trade in my Suburu for a used Buick Roadmaster, and start scouting restaurants for the "Earlybird" specials

I definitely liked my old LG for just making and receiving phone calls.

There are an amazing number of apps for free or pay for these devices and I never cease to be amazed at the inventiveness of them.
