So goes the ancient Chinese proverb These past two weeks have begun the biggest change ever in college football. We've seen one of the premier conferences, the Big 12 explode in a matter of days. We've seen the beginning of growth of the PAC and Big Ten (the Big 12 moniker is now available) and stress placed on the ACC and Big East. Boise St. has been invited to the Mountain West which may now be eligible for an automatic BCS berth. Rumors are that the SEC has put feelers out to aTm and Va. Tech. The Hokies may end up with a worse "sleeping around" reputation than Madona. Where will Kan. and K St. go (mountain west?) If Va Tech bolts does that ACC hang together or like the Big 12 will its members look for greener pastures? Whose gonna hook the Horns? What's to become of the Irish? Man, these are interesting times are they not?
Sadly... <t>For myself and others many of the great traditions are going out the window for the dollar bill.</t>
