Interesting. Not a bad idea, in the past it would be up to the student to find out all of this, which would require some one with some initiative. But it really should be not much of a problem for schools to provide this information and it will be helpful to the students and their families to know this information. I am doubtful that it will change much in terms of who student athletes chose, but at least everything will be out front, few or no suprises later. You know like not knowing if your dorm is close to a dept store or that you have to buy your own winter coat!
First of all, it's great to see the lawmakers in California beset with incredible financial hardship, channeling their energies into solving thier problems. We probably all agree that when a USC football player gets a car from an agent, he should know what the school parking fees are. And obviously kids who buy laptops could never afford discs or memory cards.
