They do this every year and they are just as likely to be wrong as right.

I have to agree, as with most things in life its the unplanned events that sneak up and get ya!!!!

Right before I lost my roof in hurricane Charlie they were evacuating folks in the Tampa area because it was forecasted to be a direct hit...I am 60 miles inland where no one even thought there might be damage. Tampa was spared any harm and just received a little rain from that event. Hmmm they kind of missed that one too.... :?

My son lives in Orlando and I was there right after Charlie. All those folks from Tampa evacuated right into the heart of the storm.

    shhhhhhhh......

Having lived here for 10 months and understanding completely how it is surrounded by water I can see the ramifications if a major Hurricane blew in to the Bay Area. It would wreak absolute havoc.

Hopefully we continue to get lucky.

I hear ya MCG let's not jinx a good thing...The St. Pete/Tampa area has been more than lucky for the last 100 years and we both know the ramifications a major hurricane would do to the area...

Hey no problem. Once again we'll be here to send out taxpayer money to rebuild the carnage. It was so nice to see southern senators like Shelby being there for our auto industry.
