The retractable roof

    I see the new Target Field is ready for the new season in Minnesota. However for some reason, they won't have a retractable roof. I'm very thankful that the powers that be in Houston have seen fit to provide us with retractable roofs for both Minute Maid and Reliant Parks. We can sit outside and enjoy a nice day but we don't have to sit in the rain and cold and be miserable.

    It looks beautiful that's for sure. I just don't want to be there on a snow day! :)

    Anyone .....

    <t>That has spent anytime in Houston knows the misery of this place after say May 1. There was never not going to be a roof considering the heat and humidity of this area. The longer I live here the more I hate the summers. At least we had a real winter this year.</t>

    I know. I took a guided tour of the stadium about 7-8 years ago. It's really cool. I was just pulling Terry's leg........about the stadium, not the team. :wink:
