Sorry... I am not getting it either. I was never a big comics fan. As I see it, the frams are depicting Steve Jobs informing three "super heros" that their careers will continue on the ipad while a 4th "super hero" will not. Either it is a dig on one of the heros or it is a dig on apple for not being compatible with all formats.

Well it's well known that Apple does not support Flash on the iPhone. Flash is used to do video on a lot of websites, so on the iPhone you miss content when browsing. Speculation was rampant that the iPad might support Flash, but Jobs announced no Flash for the iPad as well...ergo the Flash reference for the comic strip!

You apparently are not geeky enough! :)

Sid you might want to hold off on your iPad purchase till the WePad comes out. It looks to be an iPad Killer.

    Terry,

The facebook page had a lot of german language posts. I had a hard time determining if this is fact or fiction. If it is fact and not a joke, what is the difference between the two?

It is a German page, my browser asked me if I wanted it translated and when I said yes I got the English version.

As far as the difference. The biggest think is the WePad is running the Google Android OS which many consider superior to the iPhone/iPad Operating System. The biggest thing the iPad has going for it is the sheer volume of applications that have been written for it and/or will be written for it.

I had the MIS-fortune of taking my wife shopping to Ft.Myers yesterday (85 miles one way) and hit the apple store. I do believe I am going to pickup an Ipad once they become available at the end of the month when the 3G is available. We have never used an apple product and this might be more toy than tool but it looks interesting to me. I'll let you know what its like when I pull the trigger on one...

Well I have to admit, the iPad is a really nice device and very relaxing to use... It's a little small for my big hands to type out on the keypad in the normal way but that's my only bitch...Great fun for the folks who want to mostly surf the web...

Can't argue with numbers. The iPad has sold a million units already.
