I would personally whip my child's ass over and over again if I ever found out they were one these relentless bullies. http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/04/09/massachusetts.bullying.suicide/index.html?hpt=C1 Of course ......it's not something I have ever had to remotely worry about with my sons because my number ONE rule....THE rule that I have always taught each of the three of them is to treat others as you yourself want to be treated. I cannot believe that some of these idiots were ever made aware of that Golden Rule......much less have it held up as something of high importance by their parents. Not only are those misguided kids guilty but their parents should be ashamed and guilt ridden. Problem is......I'll bet in those sick families what happened to this poor girl is a laughing matter.
I agree 100%. I detest bullying. My dad always taught me " never start a fight but always finish one ". I drilled that into my boys as well. My youthful experience showed me one incontrovertible truth, the guys who did the most talking were the first one's to hit the deck or back off while the silent ones were the toughest. Beware the fellow who does not run his mouth.... 8)
Interesting George. I can think of three individuals at different schools....when I was in different grades in my childhood who thought it was fun to try and antagonize me for one reason or another. I wasn't one to fight in school but two of them I struck while in class and another thought he could pick up where he left off by our little league concessions so I called him out of the stands and we went toe to toe. He landed a couple but I landed a real stinger up the side of his head and the fight was over. Never heard anything from from any of those three ever again after they realized I wasn't going to put up with their B/S.
