Interesting: I can just picture Bobda sitting in front of the TV with his 3D glasses now!! I think 3D will become big when they come up with 3D glasses that people aren't embarased to be seen wearing!!
.........or 3-D glasses to fit comfortably over regular glasses........or even prescription 3-D glasses.
Hmmm I'm screwed as usual, it seems that everything is going 3D around me and I can't enjoy it....I had the misfortune of losing my eyesight in my right eye at a very young age and one eyed folks cannot see 3D....Imagine a big blury picture with a headache right around the corner that's my experience with 3D. I guess I won't be helping the economy with the purchase of that new 3D TV anytime soon.... Ralph
Wow, I didn't know that about you Ralph. Now I feel guilty for poking you in the eye about Miami all these years.... I'm Kidding!! Seriously though, you have my admiration for dealing with that in your lifetime. People really should count their blessings I tell ya....
Ralph, Wow! You've made a lifetime adjustment to a handicap and obviously have never let it hold you back. In fact, the only reason you mentioned it here is for the purpose of providing some humor. You're a good man. As AJ said above, you're making it tougher on him to gig Miami. Of course, there's always Gonzo.
Do you like Purple People?? Can you Fly? Do you have 1 horn? Just curious, I seem to remember you saying that you hunt, how does your vision impact your hunting?
Grin ...Thanks guys, its all I have ever known since the age of two...My father was mowing the yard and a rock from the mower hit me in the eye. It has been rough on my Dad more than myself, he opened up a few years ago and shared his feelings with me about this and I felt bad for him...I say this only to remind you to protect your children and grandchildren from dangers such as this... Terry, I did have to adjust my shooting skills because I am right handed and its my right eye that is blind. When I took the required Florida Safe Hunting program as a teenager I had to learn to shoot left handed and that really sucked but you adjust to anything when your required to. One of the hardest things was bowhunting. Since I am blind in the right eye and right handed I had to learn to use the compound bow with my left hand. Let's just say bambi lived to tell the grandkids about this wacked out bowhunter he met one day in the woods. I may be the only one eyed color blind farmer in Central Florida... I hope AJ keeps on poking, its all in good fun and besides if I didn't like being tortured I would'nt have stayed married all these years... RC
Wow Ralph, thanks for sharing and congratulations on not letting it get you down. Color blind and blind in one eye is tough but I bet from the perspective you have put forth here you feel it's better than being blind in both eyes.
