Big Ten is very well represented in this group with Ohio State, MSU and Purdue.. Big East, which appeared to be the strongest, does not look as solid now with the exception of Syracruse and West Virginia.. Cornell has to be one of the big surprises along with Northern Iowa.

We will have to get by Tennessee in St Louis and may have to play MSU again to make it to the Final Four.

Kentucky looks very strong and has been dominate thus far. I look for more so called upsets this coming week.

    I couldn't agree more Don.

The finish to the Michigan State game was a classic.

    Kansas took a hard fall.

Big East definitely feel far short of expectations. Cornell the big suprise of the tournament this year.

1/2 of the Sweet Sixteen was seeded to be there..

    Syracuse
    Kentucky
    Duke
    Ohio State
    West Virginia
    Kansas State
    Baylor
    Purdue

All the above were 4 seeds or better.

The rest of the field was not seeded to be in the Sweet 16.

Is there a George Mason in the field? :?:

Look at Baylors route to the elite 8, assuming they make it.

    Beat 14 seed in SHSU
    Beat 11 seed in ODU
Play 10 seed in St. Mary's.

Things couldn't have fallen better for the Bears.

I do have issue with two B10 co-champs being put in the same regional. Maybe they won't make it to the elite eight to play each other but still...

Does anyone remember so many key players being injured and unable to play in the NCAA Tournament?

Syracuse, Purdue, Michigan State and now West Virginia have all lost key players.

Tough breaks when you advance this far in the tournament.

Ohio State looking pretty tough. Up slightly at half time... still up by 6 with 16 minutes left in the game.

In a game that saw the score tied 12 times and the lead change hands who knows how many times, both teams deserved the win in this game. Tennessee wins 76 to 73 and moves on to the Elite Eight for the first time in the history of the program.

Congratulations to Tennessee! A hard fought game with multiple leads back and forth.

We lost badly on the boards and our treys were not falling this evening. Diebler was hounded by the defense and only scored 3 points.

Great game from two fine universities.

Always disappointing to lose, but next year is another year.

Congrats. Very sloppy game by Bucks. No answer for Tenn inside and didn't even look like we tried to find one. Tenn played great. Was a very physical game.

I'm sorry to see a Big 10 team go down, but Tennessee deserved that win after surviving 2 or 3 bad calls at critical points late in the game.

I'm very impressed with Chism and Williams and Tennessee's inside game in general.

IMO it came down to TN's depth off the bench. It looked to me that the OSU players were a bit tired toward the end.

Coach Pearl's main comment after the game was:
Of course, he was referring to the strength of our bench.

Boilers hanging in with Dukie V's team...down 1 at the half. Playing good D. Not bad for missing 2 starters.

All I have to say is that Tom Izzo is one hell of a coach.

The Tennessee men will have to carry the banner. #4 seed Baylor just took out #1 seed Tennessee women.

Congratulations for the men Tom and it's to bad about the women. However they will be back.

I am hoping for Kentucky and Tennessee both to be in the final four.
