Oregon QB Jeremiah Masoli suspended for the entire season for his part in stealing a couple of laptops and a guitar from a frat house. According to the ESPN report it was the whole season because Masoli lied to Kelly about it when he was accused. He later confessed and pleaded guilty. The ESPN reporter in the video used the term "harsh" when describing the penalty. I don't think it's harsh at all, he is still on scholarship and can practice with the team and can play in 2011 on a redshirt year. I think that is lenient. I would have kicked him off the team and expelled him from school. Oregon has had several players get into trouble with the law since the Rose Bowl. Massoli
They guy committed a felony and got to plead to a misdemeanor. He's lucky he'll not be in custody next season.
I'm...... <t>Amazed at the idiosy of some of these guys. Oregon did the right thing bouncing his a-- out for the year. That cripples what had the potential to be a great year for the Ducks.</t>
