Tim has hired quite a team to rework and unlearn what he learned at UF.

I have no doubt that he will work extremely hard to correct things and learn to play QB. If I were a Pro team I wouldn't touch him before the 4th round though. It's one thing to be able to do it in drills, but to try and read defenses and do all the things a Pro QB does and at the same time try to play a new style will take some time with the outcome in doubt. I however do hope that the Texans take him and keep him as the 3rd QB and also work on developing him as a HB/TE like we are doing with James Casey.

I predict he'll be gone before the end of the second round....as a QB. I have no basis for that gut feeling other than....well......my gut.

I understand what Terry is thinking, but agree with Sid. First or second round.

Seems to me that he would be a big catch for Jacksonville. They need an attendence boost and TT could do that.

I think that would be a terrible move for Jacksonville. If they took him in the 1st round, they would almost have to play him and even with his hard work and great character, it'd be like the Christians and the Lions (not the Detroit kind either).

His best bet is to go some place that he doesn't have to play the first year or two and work on his mechanics and learning the offense. After a couple of years who ever has him will know if he's going to make it.

I would think trying to change his mechanics at this point, would be very difficult. I wish him the best in his endeavors.

Heard Tebow interviewed on ESPN yesterday. he is light years ahead of most kids his age in maturity and a great speaker. I think he will find himself in the NFL but if not he could go straight to the announcers booth.

Don, I would agree that it will be very difficult for him to change his mechanics. Sure he might be able to do it in drills, but under pressure he will have a tendency to revert to what he's been doing all his life. If he's successful in changing his mechanics it's going to take 2 or 3 years and that's not what anybody expects from a #1 draft pick.

But I'll be rooting for him, he's shown himself to be a mature kid with his head screwed on correctly. I'd like to see the Texans take him in round 4.

If he lasts until the 4th round maybe the Bucs will take him.

Earlier on though they need defense and more defense plus they have Josh Freeman as a work in progress already.

I don't think he'll last till the 4th round either, but if he's there I'd like the Texans to take him. I just couldn't see him as a 1st rounder. If he does not get taken in the 1st round, I could see Jacksonville taking him in the 2nd round, that would take a lot of the pressure off of both the Jags and Tebow to play right away since the money wouldn't be anywhere close to a first rounder.

NFL teams are not big on taking on "projects" but this kid is a winner. I suspect third round or later.

Jax is my hometown so Tebow to the Jags would be cool with me.
