I don't really recall your prediction, but there's not much to chew on.

    It is what it is.

The biggest thing to take outa that list is a certain Top 15 ranking by a team not seen there since 2001....

    The Train baby....is coming...

AJ....what do you think of bowls vs. playoffs?

Nebraska is a typical feel good bowl story this year that wouldn't get told in a playoff format.

Nice big bowl win and an optimistic offseason.

Even if the Big Red would have made some sort of a playoff they would have had a very tough road game at one of the top elite teams......maybe even Alabama. Isn't a bowl win much more satisfying than a thumping?

AJ, assuming the Huskers can generate more offense than they did much of this season, it would seem that you will be back in the mix in the Big 12 and if that's true back in the mix nationally.

I'll jump in ahead of AJ.

    Simply put "NO".

An 8 team playoff would pretty much leave all but the BCS games intact.

So tell me again why we can't have a playoff which would allow the NCAA to actually award a national championship in Div 1 football?

I don't know. Let me ask my wife.

Personally, I say 4 team playoff after the bowl games and adjusted rankings.
