    I never will understand that "rest the players" philosophy. It seems to me that you want to maintain your consistency, your rhythm, your momentum, etc.

    I understand that if a key player gets hurt then criticism will be issued. But unless you sit that critical player and not let him play once you have clinched the top seed, then he can get hurt on the 1st play of the game just as easy as he can on the 50th play of the game.

    Sure if a player is dealing with some injury, rest him. But if your team is healthy, then play them and play to win.

    It seems that the payoff Shula, Csonka, Kiick and others put out paid for itself...

    As a Colts fan this really gets me. I say if your not hurt get out there and PLAY! Play to win. I don't think pulling the starters pays off. They've done this before and had mixed results.
