    I seem to remember there was some hot shot HS kid from SoCal who fell in love with his Neb hostess and had a baby with her and changed his commit with his original school to be close to his new family.

    I do think that Texas uses hostesses or has used them in the past. Of course Gary Barnett's staff arranged for all sorts of new recruiting experiences (without his knowledge of course) including alleged rape and prostitutes.

    This is just another NCAA witch-hunt unless they can prove the coaches sponsored the hostesses' trip down to see those recruits play. My guess is that it's just much ado about nothing. I could be very wrong.

    Unlike some others, not all, around here, if we are doing something wrong, I welcome the NCAA to come in... prove it... and clean it up. But until it is proven that we did anything wrong, I'm not too concerned.

    This hostess concept certainly conjours up some unsavory thoughts. I think Waylon Jennings said it best...

    Mama's don't let your daughter take work as a hostess.....

    However she is the daughter of John Reaves All American QB from Florida, NFL quarterback and also was an assistant coach at Florida under Spurrier.
