Tebow lost, didn't do it by himself but was pretty effectively handled by Bama.

Colt won but was pretty well handled by Mr Suh, not to mention came close to losing the game on his last play.

Ingram won his last game, had an excellent game.

Gerhardt won his last game, had an excellent game.

Has it come down to who had the best last game of the season?

I think it will either be Ingram or Gerhardt because we haven't had a RB in quite awhile and neither QB finished strong.

But here's an interesting take on the season numbers if those mean anything.

Take Tim Tebow's best passing game this season. Colt has 6 better games.

Take Tim Tebows best total yardage game this season. Colt has 4 better games.

Mark Ingram has only registered one game with higher rushing yards than Colt's 175 against A&M. Toby Gerhart only 4.

    Gerhart.

Did he have a bad game this year?

The only time he didn't make the key play for his team was when his head coach took him off the field or used him as a decoy...

I'd still give to Tebow but I could live with Ingram. McCoy stunk. Who else is there? Maybe Suh?

well, there is the matter of Gerhart. He's the nation's leading rusher who really has one issue... he's white. I can't think of another reason he isn't running away with the award.

He hasn't had a bad game... Ingram had games (Arkansas and Auburn) in which he vanished.. Also, the argument could be made that Ingram isn't the best back on that team (TR is), and neither of those two are the best player on that team... (Rolando McClain is).

On a slightly more serious note, I recall when Colt Brennen was getting some attention because of his prolific numbers. Well his career TD record was broken this year and the QB never even gets a mention. Danny LeFevour has had quite a year and career. I know, I know he plays in the MAC. So did Ben Roethlisberger and he jumped from the MAC to Super Bowl Champion.

Really? You are using what someone did against our TERRIBLE defense as some kind of achievement?

Heck, Colt wasn't even the best QB on the field that night...
Seeing as how the one he faced was playing against an infinitely better defense with infinitely less support (if you believe the recruiting services).

I don't know who should win, but please don't throw up 175 yards against a horrendous D as something the other guys need to beat...

If Colt gets 1/3 of that against Alabama, then you would have something to crow about...
