DJ Moore of the burnt orange variety of UT has been arrested for DUI. Just saw it on the half time report during the Dallas vs Green Bay game.
I saw that. I don't know what Mack will do about that to tell you the truth. Since it's his first time, he'll get probation, counseling, etc and I'm guessing he won't play again vs Kansas or Texas A&M. But while he has speed and some talent he's not a key player could easily be gone for the year or could be back by the bowl game.
These kids drinking and driving should have to do community service time in a hospital ER to see the results of what they are doing. First offense, he should have the above penalty and not miss playing time. Second offense, he should be suspended until his community service hours are fully served. Just my opinion.
This is pretty straight forward and not suprising. Defer punishment till after the legal system runs it's course. The article also says that previous players with DUI's. Sergio Kindle - missed 3 games Lamar Houston - missed 1 game.
uh... Yeah that Sergio is a piece of work... wasn't he the one that left his car crashed into a building but couldn't be found until the next day so he'd be sober?
Yeah there is no doubt in my mind that Sergio fled the scene to sober up...got lucky when it just happens that running into a building isn't even a misdemeanor.
Shoplifting charge on another UT Freshman just now being made public but happened before the memphis game. Morons... the world is filled with morons! This idiot committed to Tennessee under Fulmer's leadership. He dropped that commitment and committed to Notre Dame. He dropped that commitment just before signing day and committed to Tennessee again.
Apparently Tenn boosters are not paying these kids enough!!! Having to shop lift for bling and sticking up broke dudes with a cap pistol!! Just kidding of course!
Actually he is not a starter and was not played... although most of the bench was cleared. I am not certain that the coaches were aware of this issue since it wasn't technically an arrest. He was cited to appear in court rather than being arrested.
Not so fast... Quote from Coach was this kid is a redshirt and did not dress for the Memphis game. That's all I know....
Terry, I just don't know if I have killed enough brain cells to not remember being this stupid or if I actually wasn't. I don't understand how these guys who have the world at their finger tips can throw it all away with stupidity.
That's the problem. He's not going to have to pay a big penalty, oh sure he'll get probation from the state and due community service, rehab, etc. Mack will "monitor" his progress and if he keeps his nose clean then he'll be back in uniform maybe for the Spring or if not then definitely for the fall camp. If he is dismissed from UT, another school will give him his second chance.
UUUUhhhhhhhhhh......I thought it was gonna be McCoy and Shipley screwing up....this week who cares about friggin' freshman....
