Looks like we are headed to the Rose Bowl with our win yesterday against the Hawkeyes in OT. Not sure who we will play though with the topsy turvy PAC Ten contenders. I thouhgt their young back up QB played very well yesterday and they have an excellent defense. That 99 yard return for a TD was not bad either. Tresselball or possession ball won the game yesterday. Short passes, no turnovers and time of possession. It my not be the most exciting to watch, but it will win a lot of football games. Don
I would have done the same thing under the circumstances.....the young QB was beginning to come unglued a bit - the possession before, he threw two picks unfortunately neither of which counted - and we had our back-up kicker whose only attempt of the game was a miserable effort.....better to take your chances in OT in my view.
Hey, two things. First and most important congratulations to Ohio State for winning the Big 10. As soon as the Pac 10 figures out who wins their conference you will know who you are playing in the Rose Bowl. Second, pardon the two notes I posted here earlier that I deleted. It was meant to be a new topic for the Skyboxers Fantasy League but I accidently posted it as a reply here. Since I didn't understand what happened I went back and posted it a second time. I finally did the topic over but didn't understand what had happened until just now when I came here to take a look at what was being said in this topic. Sorry, but congratulations on the Big 10 Championship and congratulations to BT for winning the regular season Skyboxers league and now on the playoffs.
