Vol Jersey's

I've been asking about the change in color of Vol uniforms but not got any answers. So for reference I googled a Peyton Manning Jersey which is the color I've always associated with Tenn vs a Johnathon Compton Jersey a color that hasn't looked quite Tenn to me.

Here is the result.

Why did Tenn change?

 

I think maybe it would be because they got a new coach?

 

I never saw where you asked about that before. There was no official notification that the orange had been changed. It does appear to be a slightly slightly lighter tone. I will see what I can dig up.

I think what you are seeing is just a photography issue. I found the pictures I added to your post that has the hugh of the Crompton picture.

 

Look at the Orange stripe on the helmet, it doesn't match the jersey. I'm certain that it used to match the jersey.

 

You have better eyes than I do Terry. Too subtile for me.
