    Drew Breeeeeeeeeeeeeze. :)

Man the Saints have really got it going this year. Drew Brees is having as good a year as any QB, except Tom Brady in 2007, that I've ever seen.

Now back to College Football. :)

I'm really happy to see Mike Bell doing well with the Saints.

Saints are looking very good. Anyone who has Brees on their fantasy team is doing very well.

Several years ago the Dolphins were in the market for a new QB, they narrowed it down to two guys coming off injuries. Drew Brees with his shoulder and Daunte Culpepper who had a knee injury. In their infinite wisdom they decided that Culpepper was the best bet to recover fully and be the best QB.

    Not the best decision.

People have been selling Brees short (ba dum) for his whole career. Started when Texas wasn't interested in him because he wasn't 6'3" to 6'5" and he ended up at Purdue.

And then there was the Chargers who let him go. When it comes to choosing which QB to take they always seem to make the wrong choice. Just ask Ryan Leaf.

What was Drew's # in College and why did he wear that #?

Stu should know this without googling...

I believe it was #9, but I don't know the reason why he wore it.

CORRECTION: I googled it, and I'm wrong about the jersey number. The correct number was in the back of my mind, and I almost went with it, so my memory is not completely gone, just very fuzzy.

I still don't know the reason for the number.

Well Phillip Rivers is not exactly a bad choice, just that Drew has been terrific since the trade. Are you sure you are not thinking of the Lions? I have to listen to Andre Ware every Sunday with the Texans! ;)

    Sorry, AJ...can't do it.

    Here's one (no fair googling)...

Only 2 times have an unranked team upset a top 5 team in a bowl game...Drew Brees was one QB (vs. Kansas State in 1998 Alamo Bowl)...who was the QB for the other team that did this?...Hint: he's one of y'alls favorites.

I'm guessing it was the ND upset of the Gators in the Sugar Bowl. I'm not sure but I think Rick Mirer was out QB back then.

I saw a possible answer on NDNation. Air Force played the Jim Swink TCU Horned Frogs and beat them in a bowl in their 2nd year of playing Varsity College football I wonder if that is it?
