What can you say....Lee was a b!tch tonite. I think the Yanks will show up at the park today....don't get excited boys, it takes 4.
The visiting team always strives to take at least one from the home team. So far, mission accomplished. A lot can happen from game to game, but it's nice to have one in your pocket. GO PHILS!
....this ought to be a good one. Pedro has always been one of my all time favorites......classy guy that he is.
Burnette pitched a geat game. Actually, Martinez also pitched well, but it was the reverse of the 1st game. This time the Yanks had the timely HRs. IMO, the key to the Yankees' chances is to give a lead to their late-inning bullpen. That's the part of the Phils' roster that worries me. Who'd a thunk that with the offenses of both teams, the series so far would come down to pitchers duels? There is much joy in Bronxville, BUT The might Arod has struck out. AGAIN!
AJ pitched a great game.....big time performance from him. Good to see Tex get off the snide....need his bat to come back. Re: A-rod - no doubt he pressing these first two games, but it's kinda funny how the people doggin him now, were strangely silent during his outstanding clutch performances for the better part of this years postseason....
Nobody's "doggin" him BT. It would be just as newsworthy if it was Ryan Howard, who actually is not far behind Arod in terms of pressing. If it was Cano or Pedro Feliz, nobody would care.
All in good fun Sid....all in good fun. But..... is doggin where I come from.....but to be expected and taken all in good fun! 8) You are absolutley correct, Howard and A-Rod are both pressing and looking really bad at the plate.....I hope one of em relaxes and gets back to his A-game, but I won't tell you which one.....!
Didn't know he was a former Buckeye. He's a gamer. Gotta love the way he plays. He also has a great rep for community service.
