    If you can believe it one of them is former Astro manager Phil Garner? Not that there is anything wrong with that, Garner was popular when things were going right but then who isn't.

    The other 2 are Manny Acta who spent a lot of time in the Astros organization and was the Washington Nationals mgr for a couple of years, and Brad Mills the current bench coach for the Red Sox.

    Not sure who I favor, I'm not that enthralled with a return visit by Garner. Maybe I slightly favor Acta over Mills. Acta has experience with the organization and managerial experience as well.

    We'll see.

    I'd hate to see Mills leave the Sox. He's been with Tito a long time. They were teammates on the 1980 National Champion Arizona team when I was in school.

    Well the Cleveland Indians have chosen Manny Acta as their new manager so he's out for the Astros. Now it's down to 2.
