According to CFN here is the order of selection for the BCS Title Game:

No. 1 – Undefeated SEC champion
    No. 2 – Undefeated Texas
No. 3 – One loss SEC champion
    No. 4 – Undefeated Iowa
No. 5 – One loss Big 12 champion, Texas
    No. 6 – Undefeated Cincinnati
No. 7 – One loss USC or Oregon (yes, even with the loss to Boise State, and no, it’s not fair)
No. 8 – One loss ACC champion
No. 9 – Undefeated Boise State
    No. 10 – Undefeated TCU

I would expect fans of several conferences not to be too happy with this analysis.

    It is what it is.

To suggest I was unhappy means that I have no comes to terms with this fraud of a system we play under.. and I have long ago done that.

    Enjoy your ice dancing.

Corey's really gonna **** pinecones when NU upsets UT in the B12 Championship and we get an automatic bid.

Say Dave do you think that if UF and Alabama face off in the SECCG undefeated and still ranked 1 and 2, that they should be allowed a rematch, if all the other teams behind them are 1 loss teams?
    UF/Bama Rematch?

Terry, I'll give you my opinion of a Florida - Alabama rematch.

    Absolutely not!

It wasn't good for the Big 10 three years ago, for the Big 12 last year and not for the SEC this year.

My feeling is that the Championship games should eliminate the loser, they should move on. I don't believe two teams from any conference should meet in the Championship game.

If Florida loses to Bama that's their chance.....and it's over.

Give the next guy a shot.

    Husker,

If you guys beat Texas, you'll be in the BCS but the title game will take some miracles for you guys. I have zero issue with you being in the BCS games.

That would just guarantee a Neb/Boise State Fiesta Bowl. Texas would play Alabama/Fla in the Runner Up Bowl aka Sugar Bowl.

Good call. Cinci is in the driver's seat if they win out IMHO.

I dont know if they will hold up. Attrition is starting to get to them.

Right now my$$$$ are on Texas vs either Florida or Alabama.

By the way there's another SEC team that if they win our will be in the Championship game, LSU.

I'm rooting for a TCU vs. Boise State BCS Championship matchup so that Corey can finally be happy and move on to a new crusade.

One possible new OCD subject: the possibility of a Big Ten Hockey Conference being pushed hard by the B10 Network that would gut the CCHA and damage the WCHA

    http://michiganhockey.net/?p=732

So far, it seems that Minnesota is the only B10 memeber totally unwilling to toss aside the other schools of their present conference.

They are talking Notre Dame in the B10 Hockey conference? Wouldn't that set a dangerous precedent of allowing ND into the B10 without coming in whole hog...ie football?

It could be some kind of modern Trojan Horse ( probably should not use that term ) scheme. We lure you into the hockey conference. ND hockey fans begin noticing how helpful it is that penalties for slashing, boarding, and roughing are no longer called against the Irish when playing out of conference teams at home. Irish hockey fans start talking about this B10 fringe benefit to Irish football fans....-Big 10 football now becomes Big 10+1+1...
