So while it doesn't really fall on that date anymore, I'm going to get this going for you folks interested in the annual Tennessee-Bama clash: <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/CQKAp_AAqa8&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/CQKAp_AAqa8&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> Granted, the video is by a Georgia fan but give me time, I'm sure I will find more given the level of hatred involved between these two
Man, Georgia fans really hate UT. They must be suffering quite a bit <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/hxs1o2iEPgU&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/hxs1o2iEPgU&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

5 more days Vols fans.. Can you quiet the most obnoxious fan base in the SEC? <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/hlFpWN7VO_M&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/hlFpWN7VO_M&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Pretty funny, I wonder if Tom has some from the other side??? As far as an obnoxious fan base, when I've met Alabama fans in Gainesville following their team they have always been pretty good people.
Bill, Since KP and Bryan have been silent, Im picking up the slack. The Sugar Bowl loss last year really seemed to quiet those guys down. That's a shame. They are really valued members here
KP was around but thought we closed and deleted to many topics so he's lurking. I wish he would post, but that's his choice. On another note I saw where Lane Kiffin said Alabama is the best coached team in the SEC.
Went in to work at 03:00 after almost no sleep. Came home at 14:00 and crashed. I'll see what I can dig up. Gnaw on this one for a while. Don't get bored because it is long... some of the best parts are toward the end. <object width="640" height="505"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/9yngUCCITfU&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0xe1600f&color2=0xfebd01"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/9yngUCCITfU&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0xe1600f&color2=0xfebd01" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="505"></embed></object>
Silly me....and I thought it had something to do with the loss to Florida..but as usual I am placing granduer and value on beating Florida for a Bama fan when in reality we all know it don't mean squat  Aw....just kiddin KP. In any event KP's Bama perspective was always welcome even if we agreed to disagree.
Corey, I see 2 strong defenses going at it Saturday, and the big question might be which team can kick their offense into a little higher gear to get the win. Like most Bama fans are saying, I agree it's important to try to get the ball to Julio Jones more, and I think GMc needs a better game passing. Mark Ingram has been great, but at some point I think you're going to need to put the ball in the air. No problems on D, so far. Losing Hightower a few weeks ago hurt, but they have played very well since. A huge bonus this Sat. would be the return of Javy Arenas--last I read he was day-to-day.
KP actually stopped posting when we deleted some contentious posts/topics. He said he didn't approve and wouldn't be posting much anymore, he may read though no way to really know. He is participating in the pick'em contest so maybe he'll be back in the future.
Bryan, I thought the offense was going well for you guys when it's almost like the staff began to respond to critique that Julio wasn't getting the ball enough. Several times now I've seen them go max protect with Julio as a single WR en route on the play. They were playing better O as a team when they weren't trying to force feed their star. They need to return to that. When they went to the wildcat look, they were almost impossible to stop. KP, If you're out there buddy, some input would be greatly appreciated. When does Hightower come back btw? All, As one without a dog in this fight, this is truly one of the best southern football rivalries. It's a trainwreck that I look forward to each year. I was welcomed at work today by Rocky Top blaring, as it did all day long. The Bama fans at work all listen to it as a way of building their contempt for the Vols..ready to unleash on Saturday.
Hi y'all, No big deal on the lurking. I hate it when the deletions start. My vote let's just air it out and let the chips fall where they may. Anyhow: Corey, I think that Fulmer not being around anymore lets the UT/UA rivalry return to a more civil footing. Alabama needs for McElroy to return to a more effective form. We will not make it to Atlanta again unless he gets back to being effective. Julio will get his touches and although I hate the wildcat, Ingram is one of those guys that will get you yards. Richardson and Upchurch add depth and Alabama has offensive running depth that is impressive. Until McElroy gets back on track we are one dimensional. Sugar Bowl didn't quiet me, I think Alabama had a big letdown after the SECCG and just didn't care anymore. Not a good trait but we went from No. 1 to nothing. MCG, I have really been wanting to talk to you about the Alabama-born refs hating UF and all but up until now I have resisted. Last week was just too much. And as much as I hate to admit it I think one of your posts being deleted kind of led to me going into the lurking mode. Tom, You know I'm sure, that we have played UT many more times than we have played Auburn. Third Saturday in October is a great, great tradition. Rammer Jammer, Yellow Hammer, Give em Hell Alabama. Rollllllll Tide Roll.
Win, lose, or draw... Bama week is what I look forward to every year. The Bama/Tennessee rivalry is strong and makes for exciting games. Best of luck to you KP... after tomorrow of course!
For those of you that haven't heard, Tennessee asked Bama to let them wear Orange jerseys today. The request was denied. Proctor based his cartoon on that issue. I think that Proctor wins this week as well: Dan Proctor: Charlie Daniel:
Bill and Dave... There was already a Tennessee/Bama topic started and I'll continue posting here where KP, Bryan, and I have been posting. There is only one question in this game: Has Tennessee found the secret to making Crompton successful. If the UGA game was just smoke and mirrors, Bama wins. If we have actually found the answer to the Crompton question, Tennessee knocks Bama down the AP poll. As the optimist, I feel that Tennessee pulls out the win and I did pick Tennessee in the contest. The realist in me made me pick Tennessee for ONE point.
Yeah I should have posted here Tom Bama 24 - 14. Although I will not be surprised if Tennessee gives Bama a good game and not even surprised if the Vols win. If Crompton plays like he did against Georgia he could make it a long day for Bama. I have mixed emotions about this game. If the Gators make the Championship game it's best for us and the SEC if both Bama and Florida can reach there unbeaten. On the other hand I have ties to Tennessee with my one daughter in Knoxville and have always enjoyed the Florida - Tennessee rivalry in the East. I know it's not the same as the Vol rivalry with Alabama, but for most of the time the SEC has been in two conferences it's been between the Gators and the Vols. Anyway even though we are having company today to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday for the 2nd time I'm planning on a day of football, even though there will be a lot of interruptions. Ole Miss leads Arkansas 7 - 0.
Ok, we've had the first problem, the Tennessee headsets don't work so Bama had to give theirs up also. They have and the game is underway. Alabama rushes twice for little or no yards, incomplete pass, ready to punt to Tennessee. Nice return for Tenn, setting up shop at about their own 40.
