    I've seen more teams use the Pistol now, and it makes a lot of sense to me. Running in the Spread is more east/west and spread draws. Can be effective no doubt if the holes are there. But with the Pistol you still get your QB back in a short shotgun to see the field and all but the TB is in a I-Back position where he can get a little head of steam up before he gets the ball.

    I saw OU use it, I saw Alabama use it, of course Nevada's Chris Ault is the big guru with this offense. I wonder if more an more teams will use it to help their running game.

    IU uses it, and they creamed a great Illinois team on Saturday. :lol:
