Apparently the tale of the tape was a ton of Buckeye turnovers.

Herbie said he's disappointed with the lack of developement of Pryor.

Purdue dominated. Being a master of the obvious, I predict that we will have a new Big 10 champ this year.

    Congratulations Stu.

This leaves Iowa as the team to beat in the Big 10.

I don't think I've ever asked Stu who he pulls for when the Buckeyes and Boilers meet. I always root for the Irish when they play Texas, which of course doesn't happen very often.

Congrats to the Boilers....they took advantage of the opportunities presented and outplayed us down the stretch. Well done by them......but it still sucks.

We control our own destiny in the Big 10 race.....win out and we're no worse than co-champs. More offensive play from an offensive offense however and it will be moot.....our defense doesn't deserve our offense, but it is what it is......and we'll move on and effort to improve.

I'm not one with a quick hook, but I would have seriously considered yanking TP yesterday in the first half if for no other reason than to calm him down....he was in complete and total meltdown mode. His issues are between his ears.....patience and poise.

    Stu, Congratulations! ... I think...

I think it was Terry O'Keefe that asked which team is your choice when OHio State plays Purdue.

I can only equate that feeling to high school. In 1974, as a sophomore, I was co-captain of the football team and was dating a cheerleader from the rival school. She had to understand that during football season, my team was first in my heart. She took second place. I kept peace, or maybe I should have spelled it piece, by pulling for her school at basketball games. ... and yes Corey, Cindy knows about this girl in my past. She knows about every skeleton in my closet. I sleep better that way!

I always go into the game thinking I'm going to lose either way...don't want either team to team to drop a game.

But shortly after the game begins I revert back to my Old Gold and Black days...

Is there any place else in the world that Marching Bands exist outside the Military?

More fallout from the Purdue game.
Only thing that will fix it for Terrelle and JT is a win and good game from Pryor.

    Pryor

All in due time.....I'm a believer, but it is a damn ugly process at present. Armchair QB's have never been in short supply in the Buckeye Nation. I predict great things for him.....Pryor too!

I don't think that folks are as up in arms as the blogs would indicate...

We get too inflated after wins...

We get too restless after losses.

    This was a loss.

Shocking, ESPN looked up Pryors High School coach to get his opinion:
    Pryor's HS Coach

I do think Vince Young was fortuneate to be able to redshirt his freshman year and even with that he still struggled quite a bit as a RS Freshman when he started playing. However you could see the skills. The problem was they were trying to fit him into the offense that Chris Simms and Major Applewhite ran. The next year when they finally went full time to the Zone Read is when he took off in terms of production.
