Some good news UT's top 2 RB's Tre Newton and Vondrell McGee are at least day to day right now. Otherwise we'd have been down to oft injured Fozzie Whittaker as the RB. We do have some other guys but those 3 are the ones who have the most experience. Lord knows we are going to have to have a better effort from the OL and RB's with regard to the running game.

I also saw that OU WR Ryan Broyles who was injured early in the Miami game with a shoulder blade fracture is probable for Saturdays game.

Bradford and McCoy are ready to go though, they are the guys who stir the drink.

How do you not root for a guy named Fozzie?

One thing that is suprising about this game is that it's the early ABC game, which is not the prime viewing slot. That slot is the 3:30 game and/or the 8PM game.

At least I'll get to see both the OU/Texas game and the ND/USC game.

Bradford down and out in the 2nd series, that's a shame they need to sit him the rest of the year so he can really focus on rehab and strengthening that shoulder.

So far though it's the same old slow starting Texas offense, we have more yards on penalities against OU than actual offense.

    6-0. OU.

Not often you can watch two Heisman candidates drop off the chart in the same game.

Still a half to go but OU defense is doing it's best to torpedo the McCoy for Heisman effort. If he has a great second half then he's right there.

Boy this game though has been a defensive battle royal. OU has taken away all those short routes that the Texas spread likes to throw. And Landry Jones can do well when his feet are set, but if he's on the run he's most likely to put it in the dirt. So UT has to keep him moving.

    Can you believe the turnovers?

    Oh yeah...I strongly dislike Stoops!!

Texas looks different after the half time adjustments. Now lead 13-6.

    Guys,

Terry is visiting with his cardiac specialist after the game at the cotton bowl today. He's not certain whether the pain he is having is corn dogs he shoved down after each turnover or if it is the real thing.

Seriously, a win is a win. It just doesn't matter when you are playing another ranked team. A win is a win.

I had no idea that McCoy was sick. His post game interview sounded terrible. That female reporter won't be feeling too good in a few days if Colt breathed on her.

Fried Butter is not easy to do at home folks, trust me! :)

Just one of those ugly wins, I'll take it. Mack is now 4 out of the last 5 against Big Game Bob.

Given how people were condemning Boise State for 'winning ugly' on Wednesday, it was a bit of sweet justice to watch so many struggle come Saturday.

    Just keep winning..

I see that Bradfords MRI did not show any new damage he just aggravated the previous injury. I would hope that they will be very careful with Sam, he has a big future ahead of him and OU isn't going anywhere this year so he needs to sit and rehab and strengthen that shoulder , maybe play in the bowl game or very late in the year. Get Landry Jones ready for next year.
