I am shocked to tell you that Jimmy Clausen has made it into the top 5 of the Sports Illustrated Heisman Watch. Irish fans naturally feel like he deserves to be mentioned but since his Soph year was good not great there was no compelling movement to consider him. This particular list is 1. Tim Tebow 2. Jimmy Clausen (even bigger shock than just being on the list) 3. Colt McCoy 4. Dez Bryant 5. Tony Pike Sam Bradford's injury really hurt him, but if he comes back and finishes the year strong, esp if he is back for Miami and beats them on the road and follows with beating Texas and Colt McCoy he'll be right back in it. Jimmy Clausen to stay in it will have to beat USC and look good doing it and if he loses it will have to be the defense of ND that loses the game. I think Dez Bryant unfortuneately will drift down as OSU picks up a couple of losses. Tony Pike could do well and hang in there as long as Cincy keeps winning. But Tebow will be tough to beat out unless he plays poorly in a UF loss. Heisman Watch
ESPN's Heisman Watch has them ranked this way. 1. Tim Tebow 2. Colt McCoy 3. Case Keenum 4. Tony Pike 5. Jimmy Clausen Heisman
Sportswriters and bloggers, to include the NFL draft experts seem to think SUH should be on that list.
