I think lost in the pub and hoopla re: Tebow's injury is the fact that the UF defense played another stellar game vs. the Cats.....giving up only 7 points. Tebow may or may not be back for LSU but the Tigers and every other SEC opponent of Florida will have to run that defensive gauntlet before they have a chance to knock the Gators out of a spot in Atlanta. I don't see that happening.
Well granted UF did play excellent on defense. But in a historical context of beating UK 23 years in a row and the last 15 years by a margin of 28 points on the average. Not a lot can be determined from the UK game other than they are a bad team, again.
Only I could have said that better, but beat to the punch once again by Doc. Guess that's why they elected you a moderator first.
The contrast is 2005 where UF gave up a ton of points and a ton of yards in a big win over the Cats in Lexington. That team ultimately wasn't that good. This UF defense is.. as we know....the real deal and they keep playing like it.
