When you guys go the Angels game, if you see this guy would you push him down an escalator or spit in his beer! :)
Angels Fan Is Upset with Mothers Day Promo

BTW Rick how will you know which of the multiple JO'Co's you are talking with? If he shows up dressed like one of those 80's Hoggettes that you'd see at Wash Redskins game please take pictures! :)

I was going to add this story to your pink bat thread during lunch but you beat me to it. While I personally feel that every ticket-holder should be equally entitled to receive a promotional giveaway, I can't understand how a guy would feel wronged because he didn't receive a freaking tote bag. Now, if it were a mini-bat or bobblehead...

I know which Jim I'm talking to because he carries a different ball cap for each persona. How'd you know we're going to the game?

Phantom personality, I think, posted it in another topic. Something about you wanting to rumble with some Angels fans and he was going along as an observer. :)

That's what he thinks. I've made copies of JO'Co's past comments regarding the tenure and knowledge of Angels "fans" and I plan to distribute them. If I remember to take a camera I'll try to get a photo of the instigator leading our section in a "Go for two!" cheer following an Angel homerun. :D

    Terry/everyone,

O.K, i gotta asked a question and show how totally computer illiterate I am. How do I get on of those nice little graphics to appear next to my name/info etc when I'm posting.

re: Guy who's suing to get a free tote bag

Not only will we steal his beer and rough him up, we'll make it look like his fault...

    re: BDR and Angels fans

I'm going to buy Rick a pair of those plastic beater sticks so that he can be just like a real Angels fan. Maybe they'll give him a door prize for enthusiasm or something... :D

    re: the game

I'm looking forward to seeing Ichiro in person. He certainly looks like one of the all-time best on TV...

Speaking of Angels fans and their Thunder Stix...

This won't be the only time I see the Mariners this season. Kim and I are going to Seattle in July to visit family, coincidentally during the same weekend the Sox are in town

Well...I see that the Angels have caved in to that clown who was suing them over their Mother's Day promotion last year. They announced that they're sending him his free tote bag and they're changing their rules. This year they will distribute tote bags to the first 25,000 customers who show up on Mother's Day. Hey! That includes me and BDR! We're a couple of Muthas and we'll be there on Sunday for Mutha's Day! I plan on being totally immature with my official Angels tote bag and I will demonstrate my ingratitude at every opportunity...

I'll bring a pair of scissors. We can cut leg holes in the bottom of the tote bags and make some really cool shorts. Then we'll fashion hats out of cardboard snack trays, smear zinc oxide on our noses and stand during the whole game banging those annoying Thunder Stix like a coupla morons.

    We'll fit right in 8)

    8) Just a quick note we made it home safe not a good ball game at all. The seats were OK but the service was good we never had to get up for a beer or food. We had our own service person to run and get the food and beer. I am pleased to say Kim and I didnt have to find a bails bonds man and lucky enough the tote bags didnt arrive in time so there are no pictures of the men in shorts. To Kim and Rick it was so good seeing you cant wait to tailgate..... I really enjoyed the time ....D
