Win or lose, someday there will be a movie about this high school team:

David vs. Goliath in Indiana High School Baseball Championships

Well, it isn't exactly David vs. Goliath because it's the Class A (smallest schools) state championship, but it's a compelling story.

They never said whether Emily was a girls softball player, or had played baseball in Little League or what....do you know?

The article said she was a starting guard on the girls state championship basketball team. If the school had a softball team, she would not be permitted to play on the boys baseball team. Based on the fact that her mother encouraged her to join the team, I'm guessing she is a very good athlete who probably played some form of baseball in the past.

AJ, I have not seen that movie. I'll try to catch it on video.
