That opener with North Texas must be cause for concern.... I hope the the Texas sise of the scoreboard has room for three digits.

I am working now diligently on the best way to get Stu and Whobe up on the new High Def Screen!! I'm trying to come up with something that doesn't involve them 1)streaking 2)starting a fight in the stands!! :)

Too bad they didn't have it in the Rose Bowl so the refs wouldn't have missed Young's knee on the ground before the pitch.

Kyle Field is also getting a new Jumbo. Ours will only be 4000 square feet, but then we don't need the biggest video board...
We've already got the biggest stadium in Texas. 8)

That won't be for long Scott, they are upping the capacity at DKR-Memorial Field to over 90K starting after this season. But if it were me in charge of the budget I would have put the money into a new field for Disch-Falk, that 30y/o AstroTurf is 10 years or more past due for replacement. They have announced improvements to the Stadium and all but the AstroTurf will remain. Supposedly Augie thinks it's a home field advantage. :(

Not to worry Terry, the plans are already drawn for our South endzone seating... We're not ready to build it just yet, but you won't be "biggest" for long.

And I agree, you should have totally revamped DF. At least the turf will be gone!!

    Perfect timing....!

I'm thinking Teddy will look pretty good on the Jumbo in Hi-Def....can't wait! That may be the ONLY opportunity the Longhorn defense gets to see the front of his jersey!!! :D

    !!

<r>Just remember that won't be the Notre Dame or TUN defense he's playing against, it'll be the same one that shut him down last year! You remember his 2 catches for 9 yards, I'm sure!! <E>:)</E> We got a real good view of all sides of him!! <E>:)</E></r>
