Actually, I'm in 3 fantasy baseball leagues, all with family members and friends. I love this time of year. Because of my daily fantasy activities I go through withdrawal when the baseball season is over. Another trivia question that a friend posed at lunch........There are two active righthanded pitchers on MLB rosters with 200 or more career wins. Who are they?
No. Smoltz is on the DL and Padro is a man without a team. The two correct answers currently are available to pitch and are part of their teams' pitching rotations. It's tougher than you might think. I was surprised by the answer.
I think your friend was wrong unless I'm overlooking something…. http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/w/wakefti01.shtml http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/c/colonba01.shtml And no, I did not use this site to get my previous answers to the trivia although I did use it to double check after I had already posted my answers....
Thanks, Aquila. I just took his word for it. He had heard it from another baseball junkie whose word he took as fact. I'm encouraged that my surprise was warranted. I'm going to send your links to him so he can go back to his "source." Next time, before I post a trivia question, I'll make sure I know the correct answer.
Bill, didn't take long for the dividends to roll in huh? Here's what Albert did today: 2 for 4.....2 Homers....7 RBI's The Grand Slam he hit dropped into BigMac Land in LC.
It sure didn't AJ, and he had decent numbers before today which are ours also. Hey, I sent you an e-mail and haven't gotten a reply.
