The silence to this post tells me a lot. Mostly, that all ya alls know that train is coming...and there ain't a damn thing to do about it but get ran over, or get the hell outa the way.

What is understood, never needs to be discussed.

    I understand.

    LOL

I laughed so damned hard when I read this the first time, I had to go into a lengthy explanation to my coworkers about AJ.

    Just so ya know Husker...

The Mastadon steaks tasted a lot like Buffalo.

Lets see ... the food ...

Runza - got talked into the Runza sandwich instead of a burger. I didn't realize it had onions mashed into the meat, and I am not a fan of onions. Even so, it wasn't bad, and great fries! Someone who doesn't despise onions would really like it. Would still have liked it more if it hadn't followed me around for another day.

Lazlo's - loved it! French dip was rare and melty with cheese. Others enjoyed their meals as well and sampled some different beers. Should have gone back at other times insted of having throw-away meals.

Brewski's - average. Went for lunch, but didn't allow enough time - they appeared short-staffed and everything was slow. Since it was lunch, no one tried the beers, and there weren't any good sports on, so we probably missed the forte of this one.

Misty's - Looked forward to it the whole time & even decided we would splurge and pay the higher dinner prices. But I think we built it up too high. We all got prime rib, and I don't think it was noticeably better than any others I've gotten. In fact, might even had less seasoning - and they brag about and sell their own seasoning mix! They didn't serve any kind of horseradish with it, nor any extra au jus. Got potatoes au gratin as a side which was just little potato cubes in what seemed like melted mexican velveeta - quite spicy. Not bad, but not what I expected and it didn't go with the prime rib at all. Enough things not quite top notch to make it worth the $30 tab.

    LOVED the capitol building, though!

Put me down for a Runza... I LOVE that kind of stuff.

I'm hoping to get up that way come June.
Assuming my freakin' baseball team can ever work out all the kinks they've run into!
