    BDR,

Enjoy! Last week the Cats were being skinned as undeserving to be in the tourney. Your smile tonight is probably of Cheshire proportion.

    Thanks guys.

The Cats have had a good run so far and after all the turmoil of the last several years I'm very grateful to Pennell, Dunlap, Geary et al for what they've done for the players and the fans, especially the players.

The Tourney is always about match-ups, and those have been favorable to Arizona so far. The run probably ends this weekend, but even if it does this has been a very good season.

Gipper can't lose. He has both UNC and MSU in the final game with UNC winning. Congratulations on your foresight, O great one!

Thanks Sid. I'm in one other bracket pool. Of course this one is for money and of course, I don't have the same picks. But let's face it, who cares about being in the running for a couple of grand when I can win the Skybox bracket?

    Congratulations Gipper!

I really did not think MSU would come through like they did. They are playing some great basketball and good team chemistry.

Izzo is one heck of a great coach.

The final should be one great game. NC will not dominate them this time around.

I'm looking foward to going tomorrow night. It was electric last night and there should be more MSU fans in Ford Field tomorrow. The best/sad thing for many is that they won't have to get up tues. and go to work, they've been laid off.

Actually I think we're tied now...but you are maxed out...if UNC wins tonight I can pass three folks (including my son Chris) and finish 4th (despite my lousy picking)...however I am really rooting for MSU.

    Congrats, Gipper!...have fun!

Go Tarheals! I know games turn several times but right now North Carolina looks very good.

If they can pull it out, I will have 3rd place behind Gipper and Don. I will also have 4th place, in the money, in George Krebs' contest unles I looked at it wrong.

George, was I the only other Skyboxer besides you in that contest?

I really thought the game might be a bit closer then it turned out!

However, I picked North Carolina to win it all in the Yahoo Pickem Contest.

Last year the Tarheels were the #1 overall seed and got hammered by KU in the semifinal. Had to be a bitter pill for them, but those Sr's came back with a determination and it showed in their tournament run.

Also hard not to note in a time when all the supposed good players go to the NBA after 1 year, that the Final 4 was dominated by teams with plenty of Jr's and Sr's starting.
