Tennessee goes into the half time break down by 4, 38 - 34. The bad news is that we only scored 2 points in the last 6 minutes 27 seconds. The good news is that the percentages are better than those against Mississippi State. Field goals: 12 of 30 for 40% 3 points: 5 of 15 for 33% Free throws: 5 of 7 for 71% OK State is good. We are playing better but can't hold a lead because of their good team play. Tennessee has Chism with 2 fouls and Tatum, not a starter, with 2. Oklahoma State has Harris with 2 fouls and Eaton with 3. Both are senior starters.
If you are watching these games on Sportsline, make sure to be active on the mouse or keyboard. It just "bumped" me for inactivity. Could not get back on with that computer. I had to log onto it with another laptop to get back in.
Anderson gets his third. Now three OK State starters in foul trouble while only one Tennessee starter has three. We are again tied up with 11:50 left in the game.
I totally agree. That was BS. Unrelated, Anderson gets his 4th. 4 of the 5 OK State starters in foul trouble.
Not giving up yet but with 2:41 left, we are not looking good. Although just down by 3, we look off our game. Percentages are falling as well. The threes are not falling and that is what we have been attempting for the most part.
Well finally some upsets. Cleveland State over Wake, Sienna over Ohio State, Arizona over Utah, Western Kentucky over Illinois. I can't believe I'm tied for last though with Cindy's WAGS, That's the team that TOM put together with real WAGS. And even worse Scott's No Pick team is also ahead of me!!
“I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. Twenty-six times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.” Michael Jordan “Success eventually comes to the one who can go from failure to failure without losing his enthusiasm.” Winston Churchill “Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.” Arnold Schwarzenegger “Many of life’s apparent failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.” Thomas A. Edison “Victory is reserved for those who are willing to pay its price.” Sun Tzu
