next year in Denver, because he sure has screwed up their QB situation. He had one of the best young QB's in the NFL in Cutler and he tried to dump him for Matt Cassell who did have a good year last year, but who knows if he's going to be able to do that again (KC will find out). I don't blame Cutler for being pissed off, and now after several meetings things have gone from bad to worse and Cutler now is demanding to be traded. Really, really bad move by McDaniel, it shows his youth and inexperience in dealing with being a head coach.
I couldn't agree with you more Terry. I've heard some commentators say that Cutler just needs to suck it up and while I can see that point to an extent, what the heck was the Denver brass thinking here? In a period of about 4 months they've managed to fire an iconic head coach (worthy or not, he was still iconic) and then alienate their franchise QB. The numbskull of the year award has to go to that front office. They're making Matt Millen look good right now.
